5T: Registration for 30th Annual Senior Center Olympics

Five things to know today.

Today is Tuesday, May 28. Here are five things to know:

1) Sunny skies

Looks like a nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high near 75 degrees. A chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight with a low around 54 degrees.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn Council on Aging Building Safety Committee is meeting at 10 a.m. in the Veteran's Memorial Senior Center. The Woburn Retirement Board is meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Engineers Conference Room. The Woburn School Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Joyce Middle School Conference Room.

 

3) Senior Center Olympics registration

The Woburn Senior Center is holding registration for the 30th Annual Woburn Senior Center Senior Olympics all day today. The Olympics will be held on June 3. Events include putting, pool, horeshoes and more. Click here for more information.

 

4) Preschool registration

Little Hands Big Hearts Preschool is holding registration all day today for the 2014 school year. Little Hands Big Hearts is a nine-month, three-hour morning structured program which offers two, three, or five day programs.

 

5) Volunteers needed
