Five things to know today.

Today is Feb. 19. Here are five things to know:

1) Evening showers

Looks like a wet, though warmish, day today. According to the National Weather Service showers are likely, mainly after 5 p.m. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 47 degrees. It will also be windy with gusts as high as 28 miles per hour. Rain tonight with a low around 30 degrees.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Council Chamber.

 

3) Real Estate investing program

There will be a live introductory presentation by Local Entrust Business Development Manager, Brian Kearney, who will provide educational insights on investing in real estate with your self-directed IRA. Event is at 5:30 p.m., is free and will be held at The Entrust Group, 100 Trade Center.

 

4) Rock climbing

Boston Rock Gym is holding extra climbing programs for children during February vacation this week. Extra classes are at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Cost is $25. Click here for more information.

 

5) Fun run

The Boston Sports Club is holding its weekly 5K run with registration at 5:30 p.m. and the running starts at 6:30 p.m. The run begins and ends at On the Border. Click here for more information.
