5T: Snow Showers Likely This Morning

Today is Thursday, March 28. Here are five things to know:

1) Snow and rain

Looks like a messy day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect snow showers before 10 a.m. and then a chance of rain showers. Little to no snow accumulation expected. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 46 degrees. Mostly cloudy tonight with a low around 31 degrees.

2) Public meeting

The Woburn Hosuing Authority is meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the 59 Campbell Street Community Room.

3) Woburn history in film

The Friends of the Library are showing two videos by Woburn historian Tom Smith at the Woburn Public Library at 7 p.m. this evening. The movies are "Middlesex Canal" and "Remarkable True Tales." The event is free but donations are appreciated.

4) Dough Raiser

Eat out today and help raise money for the American Cancer Society. Uno Chicago Grill will donate 20 percent of your meal (eat in or takeout) to the cancer fighting group today. Click here for more information and for a printable flyer.  

5) Thinking Cap? Check!

 Tanner Tavern's Thursday Night Trivia will start at 8 p.m. tonight. Head over to Main Street for Stump Trivia and you and your team (or just you!) can compete for prizes.
