5T: Snow, Sleet and Rain Expected Today

Five things to know today.

Today is Tuesday, March 19. Here are five things to know:

1) Wintry mix

Looks like a messy day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect a mix of snow and sleet before 11 a.m. followed by snow until noon, then rain and snow after noon. Accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. High near 39 degrees. Rain and snow likely tonight before 10 p.m. followed by a chance of snow. New accumulation of less than an inch possible. Overnight low near 25 degrees.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Council Chamber. The Woburn School Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Joyce Middle School Conference Room.

 

3) Open positions

Lowe's Home Improvement in Woburn is looking for friendly, hard-working individuals to join their staff for our spring and summer retail season.
