5T: Softball Registration, Wear Your Bruins Gear and Public Meetings

Today is Tuesday, March 4. Here are five things to know:

1) Mostly cloudy

Looks like another gray day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect a slight chance of snow before 10 a.m. and then a slight chance of showers. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a high near 44 degrees. A 40 percent chance of rain and snow tonight. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a low around 32.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Council Chamber. The Woburn Public Library Board of Trustees is meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Woburn Public Library. The Woburn School Committee - Superintendent's Evaluation is being held at 6 p.m. in the Joyce Middle School Conference Room.

3) Softball registration

The Woburn Rookie League Softball registration is being held all day today at Mass Mobile Inspections. Price is $80

4) Wear your Bruins gear

Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is offering 15 percent of you bill if you dine while wearing your Boston Bruins gear on game days. The Bruins are playing the Islanders at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

5) Fun run

The Boston Sports Club is holding its weekly 5K run with registration at 5:30 p.m. and the running starts at 6:30 p.m. The run begins and ends at On the Border. Click here for more information.
