Today is Thursday, April 25. Here are five things to know:

Looks like a mostly nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect cloudy skies through the morning and clearing through the afternoon. High temperature near 65 degrees. Windy with gusts as high as 23 miles per hour. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 38.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn Board of Assessors is meeting at 2:30 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Assessors Office. The Woburn Board of Health is meeting at 4:30 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Board of Health Conference Room. The Woburn Conservation Commission is meeting at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chamber - middle level of City Hall. The Woburn License Commission is meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Engineers Conference Room. The Woburn School Committee is having a budget meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Middle School Conference Room.

 

3) Summer camp registration

The After School Club is holding registration for its summer camp programs from 1 to 5:30 p.m. today. Activities include weekly field trips and daily trips to an outdoor swimming pool. Click here for more information.

 

4) MMA and Wresting

is offering introductory classes in mixed martial arts and Greco Roman Wresting starting this week for children aged 5 to 13. The price is $15 for four classes. Click here for more information.

 

5) Live Music

Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is featuring Chad LaMarsh, a solo guitarist who plays to the crowd with the same energy and a sound as a 5 piece band. Chad LaMarsh is a Scoreboard staple every Thursday night from 9-12. Join them for live entertainment and food specials every Thursday.
