5T: Support Marathon Bombing Victims at The Restaurant

Five things to know today.

Today is Monday, April 22. Here are five things to know:

1) Sunny but cooler

Looks like a nice day but not as warm as it has been. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high near 52 degrees. Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 36 degrees.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn Board of Appeals is conducting a site visit at 5:30 p.m. They will meet at Woburn City Hall parking lot then proceed to 15 West Street Site Visit.

 

3) Schools in session

April vacation has come to an end for Woburn Public Schools. Be aware that students will be walking to school and bus stops during your morning and afternoon commutes.

 

4) Support bombing victim's

The Restaurant is offering three ways to support Boston Marathon bombing victims Paul and JP Norden, who were both injured in the blast. Make a cash donation, purchase raffle tickets for Red Sox tickets and/or have a meal and they will donate 30 percent of the tab. Click here for more information.

 

5) Jimmy V Fund fundraiser

The Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill has partnered up with Cornona to raise money for The Jimmy V Fund.  All of the Scoreboard staff are selling paper basketballs to be hung up around the restaurant.  The Jimmy V Fund is for cancer research. They will be selling the basketballs till the end of March Madness.
