Today is Wednesday, March 27. Here are five things to know:

1) Mostly sunny skies

Looks like a nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 50 degrees. There is a chance of rain showers before 1 a.m. tonight followed by a chance of snow showers with little or no accumulation expected. Overnight low around 32 degrees.

2) Public meetings

The Historical Commission is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall, Engineers Conference Room. The Woburn School Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Joyce Middle School Conference Room. There is also a Woburn Board of Appeals Site Visit at the Town Hall parking lot at 5:30 p.m.

3) Beer pong

Every Wednesday night Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill will be doing a Beer Pong Tournament. Sign ups starting at 9 p.m. and the games will begin at 10 p.m. $5.00 entry fee per person. $200 1st place prize every week.

4) What's cooking Wednesday

Whole Foods Markets is holding a "What's Cooking Wednesday" event starting at 5 p.m. today. Cruise the aisles and check out food and cooking demonstrations in each department and taste free samples.
