The first of a two-program workshop is today at the Senior Center. For today's session bring a piece of fabric from a loved one. You will begin making your "memory pillow" during the 10 a.m. program.

3) Warm & windy!

According to the National Weather Service's pinpointed forecast for Woburn, it's going to be a warm wintry day today. Expect temperatures to be close to 50 degrees. But we'll also have wind, about 5 to 10 miles per hour, with some gusts up to 20 miles per hour.

  • 1939—Woburn May Vote To Close Schools—The Woburn School Board was scheduled to meet to discuss closing the public schools for three months due to a $45,000 deficit in funding.
