5T: ZBA To Hear Bedford Road Proposals

Here are five things you need to know today in Woburn:

1) Bedford Road proposals

The zoning Board of Appeals will meet tonight at City Hall to discuss two Bedford Road proposals—razing a home at 170 Bedford and replacing it with a new-construction single-family home; and razing an existing two-family home and replacing it with a new-construction two-family residence at 173 Bedford. Meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Chambers.

2) New signage possible at Stop & Shop intersection

The city's Traffic Commission will consider a "Stop on Red Light" sign at the Elm/Alfred/Main street intersection. According to minutes from the city clerk's office, the commission will hear from the city engineer and police department at its public hearing on Thursday. Meeting begins at 4 p.m. in the City Hall Chambers.

3) Smile, the sun is shining!

According to the National Weather Service's specialized forecast just for Woburn, after a really dreary Tuesday, we're supposed to see some sunshine today! In fact, sunshine all day. Now that sounds nice. Expect temperatures to stay in the mid-40s, until after dinner, when it will dip into the 20s.
