Ahhh: Escape With a Therapeutic Massage

A great escape is not more than a few minutes away at Elements on Main Street.

Each week in our feature, we tell you about one great idea to give you a much-deserved break and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier—and at least a little bit more fun.

It’s still cold and blustery outside.

Inside, you may feel achy—either from too much exercise—a.k.a. repeated snow shoveling this winter—or too little.

Consider a massage.

at 446 Main St. offers a variety of therapeutic massages:  hot stones, deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish and sports massage.

They’re offering two specials this month:  a 55-minute massage for $49 (instead of $89) and an 80-minute massage for ($65 instead of $115).

Note to dads:  fathers are as apt to go to Elements as mothers, according to owner Tae Kang. (We’ll focus on spas that offer manicures, pedicure and facials another week.)

Kang, who has owned the business for the past 2 1/2 years, plans to increase the number of massage therapists there from the current 13.

A special Elements wellness program offers a free 55-minute massage after you get a 55-minute massage there once a month, every month, for six months, at $59 per visit.

Elements is open seven days a week.
