The Woburn Patch Moms Council has scoured the city and discovered five ways for families to save money, while still having fun.
We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars.
This is dedicated to giving you five great local deals each week that will help your family’s bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

Deal: It's no secret, we are huge fans of A.C. Moore here at Woburn Patch. Check out their fantastic selection of books varying in topics from crafting, cooking and children's literature. Not only are they marked at affordable prices, you can also use your 40-percent-off coupon from the weekly flier.

Deal: Quite possibly the best deal in town, the library is your friend who loans you books for FREE. They trust you with their terrific tomes and know that you'll return them when you're finished.

Deal: Head just slightly over the border to Stoneham and catch up on all the latest paperbacks and hardcovers at discount prices at BJ's. Books here range from contemporary fiction, cooking, children's, history, puzzles and games, and more.

Deal: Another great deal in a neighboring town, this one is in Burlington on Cambridge Street. The Used Book Superstore has tons of books, all at amazingly low prices. Books are as low as $1.29 each. You can stock up and barely break a $20 bill!
