Five Great Deals: Dollar Days, Fall Favorites and More

We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars. 

This  is dedicated to giving you five great local deals each week that will help your family’s bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

This week, Woburn Patch scoured our local sources to come up with great deals for you and your family! 

1. 

Deal: It's Dollar Days at Staples this week. Hammermill paper, Zebra Sarassa gel pen packs, Bic mechanical pencil packs, Staples brand envelopes, Staples brand Stickies, fashion notebooks, sticky notes with a hard case, small plastic "useful boxes," pencil boxes and RoseArt colored pencils are all $1 each.

Deal:  School has started, the weather has turned a little cooler and the NFL is back. That can only mean fall is here and that means fall-colored M&Ms! The tasty treats are 2 for $6 this week with your Extra Care card. If you prefer your candy in portion-control packages, get your fun-size M&Ms, Hershey bars, Twizzlers, Skittles and more in 5 for $10 bags.

Deal: Target stores asked beauty experts and customers about their favorite make-up products and put them all on sale this week! Get Revlon, Maybelline and L'Oreal products and more at great prices.

Deal: Join the folks at Scoreboard for "Appy Hour" every day from 4 to 6 p.m. During that time, you can order half-price appetizers!  

Good Through: Ongoing (not valid during Patriots games).

5. 

Deal: As we move deeper into September, it's time to decorate your home for fall. Find silk florals at 50 percent off, scarecrows at $3.99, wreaths for $15 and mum pots for $3.77.
