Woburn Patch has scoured the city and discovered five ways for families to save money.

We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars. 

This  is dedicated to giving you five great local deals each week that will help your family’s bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

This week, Woburn Patch scoured our local sources to come up with great deals for you and your family! 

1. 

Deal:  Kohl's is offering a three-day sale that includes Levi's jeans, as well as entire stock of children and junior's department.  Backpacks are $19.99-$34.99 (savings between $10-$15). JanSport big backpacks are on sale from $23.99-$100.00 (sample: $55 currently selling for $39.99). Socks, men's underwear and are buy one get on half off and women's mix and match panties are 5/$25.

Deal:  We love the deals on The Restaurant's web site, including several coupons found here. There's breakfast discounts, dinner deals, free soda and $2 off any $20 purchase between Monday and Friday.    

Good Through: Friday, Sept. 30.

3. 

Deal: Attention parents!! Every day after a Boston Red Sox win, kids eat free with the purchase of one adult entree.   

Good Through: Ongoing.

4. 

Deal:  Have a special someone you want to give flowers? Then check out Hillside Florist's Web site for their "Deal of the Day." They'll help you get the best bouquet to fit your needs and your budget.

5. 

Deal: The Bowladrome is taking part in the Kids Bowl Free program this summer. Take a look at the Web site here, sign up and start bowling those strikes!    

Good Through: Monday, Sept. 5.
