Why go: Children love to sing. Bring them to the library this Friday for a fun-filled half-hour of singing with other children. The event will be held outside, as long as it's not raining!

Where/When: ; Friday, July 8, 7 to 9 p.m.

Why go: Horn Pond is a wonderful place to gather and hang out with friends. Enjoy a performance by Beat Soup, a ska-influenced band that plays instrumental and vocal pieces.

Where/When: Stone Zoo, 149 Pond St., Stoneham; Saturday, July 9, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Why go: If you love the Stone Zoo, and who doesn't?!, bring your empty bottles and cans there Saturday during their bottle drive. The money collected during the drive will help pay for conservation programs and efforts by the Zoo.

Where/When: ; Sunday, July 10, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why go: Get your fruits and veggies fresh from the farm!  

Pricing: Free (Except for all the yummy fresh items you'll be buying!)

5. 

Where/When: Burlington Mall; Saturday, July 9, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Why go: Join our neighboring friends at the Burlington Mall for a fitness and wellness expo. There will be demonstrations of exercises, as well as presentations from shoe companies.
