Where/When: , Saturday, March 5 - 6:30 p.m. 

Why Go: It's a chance to enjoy comedy by Bob Seibel, Jimmy Walsh and Chris Zito, while raising money for eye research charities with the Middlesex Lions Club. There will be a cash bar, raffles and music, too. 

Pricing: $20.

Where/When: American Legion Hall, 194 Lexington St., Sunday, March 6 - 8 a.m. to noon. 

Why Go: Who doesn't love hotcakes? Woburn Patch says, add "plenty of butter" to this tasty breakfast!     

Pricing: Adults, $6; Youth (ages 5 to 12), $3; Children under age 5, free. Tickets will be available at the door.

Where/When: , Sunday, March 6 - 1:30 p.m. 

Why Go: It's March and that means St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. Celebrate the Irish with this afternoon of Irish songs, stories, and a bit of blarney, featuring local entertainer Keith Sullivan.

Pricing: Friends of the Library, children under 12, free; Non-members, $5.

5. 

Where/When: , Sunday, March 6 - after Sunday's liturgy. 

Why Go: First pancakes and now spaghetti? This is a fine day for food in Woburn. Twirl some pasta and meet with friends as part of an enjoyable afternoon.    

Pricing: Free, donations are accepted.
