1) Windy weather: We're back to chasing our hats today! The National Weather Service says we'll see sunshine, but high winds. Gusts could be as strong as 32 miles per hour at times today! Temperatures will be in the high 50s.

2) Sound of Music: The school halls will be alive with the Sounds of Music tonight! The Woburn Memorial High School Drama Club's annual spring musical—this year—will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and students. 

 

3) Event Spotlight: The will be held tonight in neighboring Stoneham. The auction, held in honor of the late John McElhiney, starts at 6 p.m. at the Montvale Plaza. Tickets are $30.

5) It all started with a big bang: And so it did. But according to German mathematician Johannes Kepler, the universe wasn't created with a big bang, but on this day in 4977 B.C. Kepler used math theories and his knowledge of planetary motion to create three scientific "laws." It turned out, though, that Kepler was off by about 13.7 billion years when calculating the start of the universe.
