Today is Monday, April 4. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Spring is back?: Friday's snow is but a distant memory after a nice, warm weekend. The National Weather Service is expecting mostly sunny skies today with temps in the high 40s. Maybe spring is back for good? 
  2. Hockey is still here: Even though it’s spring, it’s still OK to talk hockey. Afterall, the Boston Bruins did clinch the title this weekend! Closer to home,  scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m.

  4. In case you missed it: It was an incredibly busy weekend for Woburn Police and Fire. On Friday night, firefighters and officers responded to Dows Lane for a report of an . Saturday, two of seven arrests over the previous two days, included a and allegedly threatened a 50-year-old with a taser and a .     
  5. Assassination of a leader: On this day in 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed while standing on the balcony of a motel in Memphis, Tennessee. The civil rights leader gave his last sermon the day before he was fatally shot, telling followers that he had seen the “promised land” and that “we, as a people, will get to the promised land.” King was killed by a sniper the next day, who was later identified as James Earl Ray.
