Today is Monday, August 8. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Storms possible: We may see some thunderstorms today, as the National Weather Service is forecasting rain and some thunder after 10 a.m. Expect temperatures to stay in the 70s today.
  2. Trivia time: is hosting Stump Trivia tonight. Enjoy a meal and compete with others for a lot of fun, and some prizes.
  3. Karaoke: The is open after a series of renovations and improvements. One of those new things? Karaoke! Join in the fun tonight at 8 p.m. Come on, we know you want to sing a little Journey!
  4. In case you missed it: We have been having a lot of fun with our weekly photo puzzlers, called Each Friday, we run a photo and you can try and figure out where it is in Woburn. The answer runs on Sundays. How did you do this week?
  5. Let there be light: On this day in 1988, the Chicago Cubs played their first-ever night game at Wrigley Field. Although professional baseball games had been played at night for over 60 years, the Cubs had only had day games. Today, the team still plays the majority of its games during the day, despite the lights at Wrigley.
