1) Heating up: Even though it’s probably going to be cloudy… and rainy… and cloudy (did we already say that?) … it should be an OK day in Woburn. Temperatures are expected to get close to 50 degrees and stay there Thursday.

5) Go ahead, invade us: On this day in 1776, Governor Francis Legge of Nova Scotia reported that some residents had written a letter to General George Washington asking him to “invade Nova Scotia at his earliest possible convenience,” according to History.com. But two days later, the Continental Congress voted that Washington should investigate going to Nova Scotia, but not the destruction of Halifax.
