1) Let it snow… : Well, here’s a four-letter word we haven’t used very often this winter—snow! According to the National Weather Service, we’ll see some snow and rain today. The NWS expects an inch or two of snow accumulation.

2) Teddy Bear Clinic: We know this is out of town, but it’s in neighboring Burlington. And it looks so cute, we know some of you will want to attend! The Mall is hosting a today for your kids and their teddies! Children will learn about what happens at a doctor’s visit, by seeing their bears and dolls experience a check-up.

 

3) Event spotlight: Head over to the tonight at 7 p.m. for a benefit dinner for Karen Canada. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds will benefit Karen and her family. The proceeds will help pay for Karen’s medical expenses.

5) Once Upon A Time… : On this day in 1786, Wilheim Grimm was born in Germany. The younger of the Brothers Grimm, the two siblings worked together to compile oral folktales they collected over the years. Known as Grimm’s Fairy Tales, the stories included Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel. The stories remain extremely popular today; as evidenced by a new television show titled Grimm.
