Today is Thursday, Feb. 24. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Clouds are approaching: After a couple of days of sunshine, the clouds are expected to return today. But the temperatures will remain near the 40s. Enjoy the warmer temps while you can, the National Weather Service is anticipating some rain and snow on Friday. 
  2. Healthy talk: The Board of Health will meet tonight at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. for one of its regular meetings. Topics on tap tonight include the budget, Sturgis Street and the at a City Council public hearing.
  3. Wild Tea Party: Do you like tea? Do you like alcohol? Then has a new product you might like to try out. The store is holding a of its new Absolut Wild Tea today from 4 to 6 p.m. The tea features flavors of oolong tea, red apples and citrus.
  4. In case you missed it: Woburn Patch was there on Saturday night when the city on Montvale Avenue. The restaurant, which still has locations in Saugus and Rowley, closed after more than 20 years in Woburn. .
  5. Sir Elton: On this day in 1998, famed British singer Elton John was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. Sir Elton is known for his many hits, including “Candle In The Wind,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Saturday Night’s All Right For Fighting,” “Honky Cat,” “Rocket Man” and “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues.” He has undergone a great deal of turmoil in his personal life, but John is considered one of the greatest artists of our time.
