Today is Tuesday, Feb. 8. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. At least it’s not a blizzard: Expect some snow to foul up your morning commute today, as the National Weather Service predicts snow to fall this morning before noon. According to the NWS, though, only about one inch of fresh snow is expected to accumulate in Woburn. 
  2. Gas is pricey: According to GasBuddy.com, King Petroleum is still your best bet for low gas prices in Woburn. At $2.97 per gallon, it’s the cheapest in the city. is reportedly one of the highest prices in Woburn at $3.29 per gallon.
  3. School discussion: The will meet tonight at the at 7 p.m. Expected topics of discussion include: Students Against Drunk Driving, the fiscal 2011 budget and updates on the Goodyear School construction, the roof repair project, redistricting committee and anti-bullying committee.
  4. In case you missed it: this weekend for Christopher John Ward, a 19-year-old Woburn resident who was . Ward, a member of the Class of 2010, died less than a month after classmate , who was also . Visiting hours for Ward will be held at Home Thursday. .
  5. Dy-no-mite: On this day in 1974, the American television viewer was introduced to the Evans family through the sitcom “Good Times.” The show was a spin-off of the successful Norman Lear comedies “All in the Family” and “Maude.” The Evanses lived in a housing project in Chicago, with early episodes focusing on the family. As the show progressed, though, it was J.J. Evans and his catch phrase that caught on and gained popularity. The show continued until the summer of 1979 when its final episode aired.
