3) Event spotlight: The will meet tonight at starting at 7 p.m. In addition to reports from the tech crew and the the agenda includes new educator evaluation requirements and subcommittee reports.

4) In case you missed it: A former employee walked into a Woburn business last week and took the leather office chairs. Then brought them outside. And left them there. All that and more in

5) Atomic lies: On this day in 2003, North Korea, at the time still under the rule of the now-deceased Kim Jong Il, announced it was withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, but stated it was not seeking a nuclear weapon. However, on Oct. 9, 2006, the North Korean government announced it had successfully tested a nuclear weapon for the first time. Another test in 2009, believed to be real by the United States and the IAEA, apparently caused a 4.7 seismic event.
