We never get tired of this forecast! The National Weather Service says Woburn will be a sunny delight today with a high of temperature of 85 degrees.

2) Lutheran history in Woburn

Did you know that today marks the anniversary of the ? The congregation was formed on July 25, 1893 by a group of Swedish immigrants. The group was led by N.E. Kron and met in Fraternity Hall. The state formally recognized the church on Sept. 5, 1893 and it became the Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church. Read more about the congregation's history here.

5) Everyone is a fan of someone

On this day in 1941, automobile pioneer Henry Ford penned a fan letter to Mahatma Gandhi. In the letter, Ford praised Gandhi for his civil disobedience actions. According to historians, Ford wanted the British out of India and felt Gandhi was taking the right approach to that end. The letter is housed in the Henry Ford Museum and Library.
