Today is Thursday, July 28. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Another winner: Much like yesterday, we’re expected to see a lot of sun today in Woburn. The National Weather Service is forecasting a mostly sunny day with temperatures around 82 degrees. Absolutely perfect!   
  2. Strong men and women: Build up your during a weekly exercise class at the held each Thursday. A $2 donation is suggested.
  3. Journey to Africa: As part of the summer reading program, this all-ages activity will teach you how to play Mancala, Catch Your Tail and Boa Constrictor—all . Activity will be held outside between 10 and 11 a.m.
  4. In case you missed it: We dug into Woburn’s historical archives yesterday to re-tell the story of . Summer is the perfect time to pass these legends from person to person and Woburn Patch hopes that you’ll all read this and then re-tell Wabanowi’s story to others! .
  5. Down the rabbit hole: On this day in 1951, Walt Disney released its animated version of Lewis Carroll's "Alice In Wonderland." This was the thirteenth movie in Disney's Animated Classics Series and was made under the supervision of Walt Disney himself.
