Today is Friday, July 8. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Possible showers: Although we will most likely see some sunshine today, there is a shot we’ll have showers, probably after 1 p.m., says the National Weather Service. Temperatures will most likely be in the mid-70s with a high of 76.   
  2. Sing, sing a song: Sing it loud… OK, maybe not too loud, you will be in a library! The is hosting today in the Children’s room from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
