Today is Friday, June 10. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Cooling off: But still awesome today! The National Weather Service is expecting temperatures to dip into the high 70s, which is a bit cooler than yesterday’s 90s. Expect sunny skies and a slight north wind.
  2. Relay for Life: The annual at Library Field. The event raises funds and awareness around cancer. Teams walk with one person always at Library Field. The relay shows people that, like participants, cancer does not sleep.
  3. Music and sports: Head over to the tonight for sports on TV and musical band live. Music starts at 9 p.m.
  4. In case you missed it: Just a few hours after the Boston Bruins win in the Stanley Cup finals, Woburn Police and Fire were busy dealing with a porch fire on Main Street. A woman reported going to the bathroom and seeing the blaze on her porch. .
  5. Witch-y woman: On this day in 1692, the first woman convicted of witchcraft in the Salem Village witch trials was executed. It is not Massachusetts’ proudest moment, as it was later determined that the 19 women and men executed of witchcraft were innocent.
