Today is Monday, June 13. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Showers and sun: It looks like it’ll be a bit of a mixed bag today, as the National Weather Service is forecasting some showers, as well as partly sunny skies today. But don’t expect too much rain, the precipitation level is only at 30 percent. Temperatures will likely reach the high 60s.  
  2. School budget: The School Committee is expected to present its budget to the City Council’s Committee on Finance tonight at . City Council may vote on the entire fiscal 2012 budget tonight, if all discussion is completed. If not, the meeting will continue to Tuesday.  
  3. Get stumped: The is hosting “” tonight at 8 p.m. Put together a team and head over to Mishawum Road for some food, fun and trivia.

Alexander was considered a military genius, who never lost a battle and controlled an empire stretching from the Mediterranean to India.
