Today is Friday, June 3. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. TGIF: Looks like today is shaping up to be another picture-perfect spring day! According to the National Weather Service, we should see sunshine and temperatures in the 70s today in Woburn. And if that wasn’t good enough, there will be a light breeze too. Ahh, perfect!
  2. Pomp and circumstance: The Woburn Memorial High School Class of 2011 will march in graduation ceremonies on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Connolly Field. Seniors should report to WMHS at 12:30 p.m. Congratulations, seniors!
  3. Farmers’ Market: Don’t forget, the first Woburn will be held Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spence Farm. Head over and pick up some fresh produce and other goodies!
  4. In case you missed it: Woburn Patch wants you—and your —on the site. How do you get your photos on here? !
  5. Happy Mabo Day: Today is Mabo Day in Queensland, Australia. The holiday celebrates Eddie Koiki Mabo, an islander who led a campaign for indigenous peoples’ rights in Australia. Although currently only celebrated in Queensland, there has been a push to make it a national holiday in Australia.
