  1. A lovely day: It’s shaping up to be another lovely day in Woburn today, as the National Weather Service is forecasting sunshine and temperatures in the 80s. There will be a light wind today, going into tonight, making it just breezy enough!  
  2. Get (Board of) Healthy: The Board of Health will hold its regular meeting this afternoon at . The meeting, which is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. in the engineer’s conference room, will include discussions on Sturgis Street and the Woburn Sanitary Landfill.
  3. Jimmy Fund: Volunteers will be at several theaters in Massachusetts, including the on Middlesex Canal Park. Interested in volunteering your time at the theater to help the Jimmy Fund? !
  4. In case you missed it: We turned back the calendar again yesterday, taking a look at the graduation program for the Woburn High School Class of 1898. .
  5. Birth of a classicOn this day in 1953, General Motors Chevrolet division rolled out the first Corvette. The vehicle was produced in Flint, Michigan and cost $3,250. To date there have now been six generations of the legendary automobile.
