1) We give up: All right, Mother Nature, you win. You gave us some sunshine yesterday and we loved it. But now you're swinging some more clouds and rain our way? We surrender! 2) Guitar lessons: The Senior Center is hosting a unique class for seniors this morning at 10 a.m. Donna Nagle will teach Each class is $2 and student must provide their own instruments.  

 

3) Event spotlight: It's time for the annual Greek Fest to hit Woburn! The Greek Anunciation Church on Montvale Avenue is hosting the annual festival today, Saturday and Sunday. !

5) 'I'm having an old friend for dinner': On this day in 1999, the third book chronicling the story of Hannibal Lecter arrives in book stores across the United States. The story, told by author Thomas Harris, began with the 1981 novel Red Dragon and continued with 1988's Silence of the Lambs. The book was turned into a movie starring Anthony Hopkins. A decade later, Harris completed the story of Hannibal. That novel was also made into a movie with Hopkins as the flesh-eating doctor. A "pre-quel" describing Hannibal Lecter's childhood—Hannibal Rising—was released eight years later (2007).
