Today is Monday, March 14. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Happy Monday: Mondays aren’t always the most fun day of the week. It’s tough getting back into the swing of the work week. But the National Weather Service is reporting that Monday is going to be filled with sunny skies, which could make it a pretty happy Monday today! Temperatures are forecasted to be in the 40s today.
  2. I’ll take “Physics” for $200: OK, so it’s not Jeopardy, but it’s still fun. Head over to the Sea Dog tonight for its The fun starts at 8 p.m.
  3. License to bark: Don’t forget, you only have one more day to make sure that your pups are licensed in the city of Woburn. Visit the City Clerk’s office to register your dogs in person, as it might be too late to do it by mail. You’ll need your pooch’s current rabies certificate and spaying/neutering certificate. Spayed/neutered dogs are $10, others are $15.
  4. In case you missed it: More than 100 people filled the Saturday to support the Yes To Our Library expansion effort. The group formed a “flash mob” and shouted “Yes to our library!” at 1:32 p.m. Not sure what a flash mob is? Or the significance of 1:32 p.m.? .
  5. E=mc2: On this day in 1879, a genius was born. Albert Einstein was born the son of a Jewish engineer in Ulm, Germany. Most known for his famous equation, E=mc2, Einstein discovered many scientific theories and won the Nobel Prize in Physics. One of his most famous works is the theory of relativity, in which he discovered that time and space is relative. We’d explain it more, but we’re no Einstein!
