Today is Thursday, March 24. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Sixty percent chance of icky: The National Weather Service is forecasting a 60 percent chance of snow and rain for today. But even with snow before 1 p.m. and maybe after 5 p.m., the NWS predicts it will only add up to less than an inch of accumulation.
  2. College fair: Even if you don’t think you’re college material, you are! is geared towards students with learning disabilities. Several colleges will be in attendance to talk to students and parents about their options after graduation. The fair is from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight.
  3. Let’s feast: The will hold its at 7 p.m. tonight. The event tonight celebrates the Great Vesper Service and there will be a reception.
  4. In case you missed it: We try to publish as much youth sports information as we can. This week, we were delighted to see that the picked up the title in the Hallenborg Tournament! . If you have some youth sports info that you’d like to see on Patch, you can create your own account and add it to our announcements or e-mail the editor.
  5. Blue Suede Shoes: On this date in 1958, Elvis Aaron Presley was drafted into the U.S. Army. Presley was given a student deferment after registering for the draft at age 18. He was given another deferment to finish filming a movie. But in 1958, with the Korean War still going on, Presley was drafted into the Army for a two-year tour of duty. He would return to his throne atop pop music when he returned in 1960. Elvis’ final number one hit was—a Woburn Patch favorite—“Suspicious Minds” in 1969. He would continue to perform into the 70s, before his death in 1977.
