Today is Monday, May 23. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. More clouds: When will we ever have a sunny day again? The National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of showers with cloudy skies to start off our work week. Temperatures will be in the high 60s.   
  2. More budget fun: The City Council Committee on Finance will continue to discuss the budget tonight at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at . On tap tonight is the , , Parks Department and Recreation.
  3. Don’t text and drive: As we told you last week, the mobile simulator is coming to Woburn to show teens the dangers of driving while distracted. Read all about the program, which starts today at 1:15 p.m., here.
  4. In case you missed it: The Woburn City Band is celebrating its 75 anniversary this year. Check out our latest Patch People feature, which talked to members of the band about their music and their upcoming performance on Memorial Day.
  5. A love affair is over: On this day in 1934, husband and wife criminal tandem Bonnie and Clyde were killed by state police officers in Louisiana while driving a stolen car. Although the pair led an extensive life of crime, they were romanticized in the public eye thanks to the playful pictures they posed for and a Hollywood movie. But, to the police, Bonnie and Clyde were dangerous criminals who were part of a gang responsible for 13 murders, including those of nine police officers.
