Today is Thursday, May 5. Here are five things you need to know:

  1. Cinco de Cloudy: The clouds are still with us today, as the National Weather Service is forecasting rain before 11 a.m. this morning. Temperatures will be a bit cooler today with highs in the mid-50s. It’ll stay cloudy as we move into evening and temps will likely fall into the 40s. 
  2. Cinco de Housing: Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the Woburn Redevelopment Authority. It may not be much of a party, but it will be a meeting on the Woburn Housing Rehabilitation Program. Session starts at 5 p.m. in the Committee Room.

  5. Cinco de Spidey: On this day in 2002, the film Spider-Man becomes the first movie to gross more than $100 million in its opening weekend. The movie was widely anticipated by comic book fans who had been reading the popular series since 1962. The film features Peter Parker and his supernatural powers that he uses to fight evil.
