4) In case you missed it: Monday night, the city was concerned for the well-being of a elderly resident who had been missing for over 13 hours. While the Woburn Police were searching for the man, residents were pulling together online to discuss the situation and lend support to the family. Luckily, concerned drivers in Lincoln spotted the 73-year-old Woburn man and he was returned to his family. .

5) The real Norman Bates: On this day in 1957, Ed Gein robbed and killed a hardware store owner in rural Wisconsin. Gein is known to have killed two people, but may have killed others. His odd habits were a source of inspiration for the movie “Psycho” character Norman Bates. When Gein was arrested for the Nov. 16 killing, law enforcement officers found human organs in his refrigerator, a human heart on the stove, heads made into soup bowls and chairs upholstered with human skin.
