1) Sunny start: Looks like our short week is going to start off on a sunny note. According to the National Weather Service, we’ll have sunny skies in Woburn today. Expect the temperature to be close to 50 degrees.

3) Event spotlight: parents, the at 7 p.m. at the school. This regular monthly meeting will last about an hour and be held in the school library.

5) Who shot J.R.?: It was the question on everyone’s lips on this day in 1980. In the previous season’s cliffhanger of the primetime soap opera “Dallas,” Larry Hagman’s character—J.R. Ewing—was shot and fans were left wondering “Who shot J.R.?” After a Screen Actor’s Guild strike postponed the show’s premiere from early fall to late November, the show answered the question. But we have a question for all of you: Do YOU remember who shot J.R.? We do!
