Five Things You Need to Know Today, Sept. 14

Today is Tuesday, Sept. 13. Here are five things you need to know:

1) More summer: The National Weather Service is predicting another beautiful summer day for us today, with temperatures rising into the mid-80s. We may see some clouds in the morning, but the NWS doesn’t expect any rain. 

2) Playgroup is back: The for children up to age 5 is back in session at the . Cost is $2 and children must be accompanied by an adult.

3) Senior session: The Senior Issues Breakfast/Lecture series continues tomorrow with a Price is $2 for the breakfast. Winchester Savings Bank will answer questions from seniors during the event.

4) In case you missed it: A lot of our readers asked us Monday what happened on Lexington Street as several Woburn Police cruisers had pulled over and were arresting two men.

5) Nanu Nanu: On this day in 1978, ABC premiered the first episode of "Mork & Mindy." The show starred Robin Williams, who played a space alien from the planet Ork that came to Earth in a small egg-shaped spaceship. Upon arriving, Mork met Mindy, played by Pam Dawber, who befriend the alien and invited him in as a roommate. In the final season, the two married.
