Scrapbooking seniors meet today.

Today is Tuesday, Sept. 20. Here are five things you need to know:

 

1) Rain and clouds: Boo! The National Weather Service is forecasting rain and clouds today, but temperatures will get close to 70. Expect some rain tonight, as well, says the NWS.

3) Scrapbooking: The will meet today at the School Street building from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

 

4) In case you missed it: Mayor Scott Galvin announced Monday that Woburn Police Lt. Robert Ferullo is now Woburn Police Chief Ferullo. .  

 

5) One year, three presidents: On this day in 1881, Chester Arthur was inaugurated as Presidents of the United States, the third president to serve during the year. When the year began, President Rutherford B. Hayes was in office and finished out his term. Then, President James Garfield took over, but was shot in July. President Arthur took over, the day after Garfield succumbed to his gunshot wounds and died. Arthur served one term until 1885.
