IMAGE GALLERY: Signs of Spring

Rick Nohl goes searching for spring this week in Woburn.

For this week's , Woburn Patch's weekly photo essay, photographer  decided to search for spring.

After a weekend of snow, rain and wind, I decided to head out and see if I could see any signs of spring on Tuesday.

My first stop was the playground and ballfield at Erie and Washington streets. You can finally see the playground equipment and a few ducks looking to make their home again this spring.

I then decided to investigate the area around Bills Pond and off of Sturgis Street. Here I was able to find numerous signs that spring is not far away. From people out walking the road—which is not snow-covered anymore!—to two swans swimming in Horn Pond, it looks like spring is just around the corner.
