Let 'Papa' Cook You A Meal

Papa Gino's Pizzeria is more than just pizza.

is a pizzeria chain that services the Northeast. Woburn has two locations including one at the as well as one in near and . Papa Gino’s started in 1968 (although the owners had a pizzeria by another name as early as 1961). The chain is known for their pizza with their secret tomato sauce, as well as pasta, sandwiches, burgers and salads. The Papa Gino’s company also owns the well-known D’Angelo Sandwich Shop chain.

Each Papa Gino's location makes it’s own dough fresh every day. The dough is stretched out by hand and you can usually find the employees stretching fresh dough and building pizzas to put into their deck oven. Their pizzas are topped off with their secret sauce and a special cheese mixture of mozzarella, white cheddar and romano. Papa Gino’s serves three types of pizzas: Traditional, Rustic and Specialty. Traditional pizzas are their standard three cheese pizzas with as many or as few toppings as you’d like. Specialty Pizzas come with a pre-selected array of toppings and include Super Veggie, Hawaiian, Meat Combo, Chicken & Roasted Garlic and more. Their Rustic pizza has Asiago added as a fourth cheese and Romano cheese is added to the crust to make it extra crispy and flavorful.

On the main menu, appetizers include freshly fried French fries (let them cool before you bite in!), cheese breadsticks, mozzarella twists, chicken tenders and more. Pasta platters include Spaghetti, Penne, Cheese Ravioli, Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Broccoli. We particularly like the Papa Platter sampler that comes with spaghetti or penne, two raviolis, two meatballs and a cheese breadstick. Papa Gino’s also serves hamburgers, including their Papa’s Classic that comes topped with American cheese, lettuce and a Thousand Island-like dressing. Cold and hot subs include Italian, Tuna, Chicken Caesar, Steak & Cheese, Chicken or Meatball Parm, etc. You can add a side salad to your meal or order one of their fully loaded salads including Chicken, Bacon & Cheddar, Crispy Chicken Tender, Greek Salad and more. There are also Kid friendly meals for children under 12.
