Burlington Man Charged With Stealing Over $600K in Legos and Books

A Burlington man has been charged in U.S. District Court on charges related to stealing toys and books and selling them online.

According to the Boston Herald, John C. Strang, 67, of Burlington, was charged yesterday with one count of insterstate transportation of stolen property.

Hull Responds to Wilmington Firefighters Union's Vote of 'No Confidence' in Chief Bradbury  

At Tuesday's Board of Selectmen meeting, Town Manager Jeff Hull read a letter to President of Wilmington's Firefighters Local 1370 Bill Cavanaugh in response to the Union's April 23 vote of "no confidence" in Wilmington Fire Chief Edward Bradbury.  Hull said he believes the Union's concerns about Bradbury's conduct as Chief can be used to ensure compliance with Civil Service moving forward.

Homeless Man Arrested for Allegedly Breaking Into Unoccupied Home Geoffrey Aronian, Homeless, was arrested for alleged breaking and entering (nighttime for felony) and illegal possession of ammunition, after he was reportedly seen inside an unoccupied home by a neighbor.

 

Malden

The city's former solicitor and an assistant to former Mayor Richard Howard was sentenced to two years in prison Tuesday. 
Charles Toomajian, 55, of Malden, was also ordered to pay $350,000 in restitution for his role in a money laundering schem
