POLICE LOG: Drivers Summonsed to Court for Violations

An excerpt from the Woburn Police Department's May 4 police log.

The following is an excerpt from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

May 4 –

At 4:07 p.m., a Somerville man was summonsed to for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after police were dispatched to a report of a car accident at Green and Nashua streets.

At 7:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to Nichols Street for a report of a domestic dispute. According to police, a mother and son had an argument. Both parties agreed it was verbal in nature and the son left the home for a few hours to cool off.

At 9:48 p.m., a Woburn woman was summonsed to Woburn District Court for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license after an officer observed the driver run through a stop sign at Campbell Street and Wade Avenue. The woman’s car was parked legally on Campbell Street and she was transported to a friend’s house.
