Entrees: The meal choices at Tanner Tavern are typical American fare with an upscale twist. Soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and surf and turf dishes mostly make up the menu. We highly recommend trying something from their seafood menu. Most of the options come either broiled (with butter and breadcrumbs), grilled, blackened or fried. So you can customize that shrimp dinner however you'd like!

Desserts: Fresh from Just Desserts in Wakefield, be adventurous and try the cheesecake flavor of the season, a big slice of chocolate cake, some warm apple crisp or a fancy creme brulee.

Service: You can dine in for lunch or dinner or order from their take-out menu. Both the dining area and the bar are full-service with drinks and meals.

Music & Events: Make sure you stop in on Friday and Saturday nights when Tanner Tavern features a local musical band in their lounge area. Also, they host Stump Trivia on Thursday evenings in their dining area. It's a fun way to spend some time with friends or family. Just make sure you ask the hostess in advance for seating near the Trivia master.
