The Week Ahead: Whole Foods, the Red Sox and Scrabble
Take a peek at some of the events in Woburn this week, August 1-5.
Each week Patch will highlight a smattering of the upcoming events in Woburn; Welcome to the Week Ahead.
- On Monday at , at 8pm, be sure to check out . Grab a few pints, some pub grub and enjoy the awkwardly awesome tunes.
- At 5:30pm on Tuesday at , attend This event is casual gathering to talk, eat, drink, and learn from our special guests, as well as each other. Social media enthusiasts and beginners are welcome, and light appetizers will be served.
- On Wednesday at , from 5:00pm–6:00pm check out . Join staff and guests for a weekly tasting event! Cruise the aisles and check out food and cooking demonstrations in each department.
- On Thursday at 22 Sears St, Burlington, from 12:00pm–4:30pm try your wits at a . A three-round Scrabble Tournament will be held at the Burlington Public Library. Be sure you have pre-registered, eat lunch beforehand, and come enjoy some friendly competition with players from Burlington, Lexington, and Norwood.
- Finally, on Friday at 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, (Fenway Park), from 5:00pm–7:30pm check out For two days this August, the Red Sox Wives take over Fenway Park to collect donations for The Greater Boston Food Bank, the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and one of the largest food banks in the country.
