There was a near overdose of cute at the this past weekend as babies crawled their way to victory in the first annual Diaper Derby.

Crawlers under 12 months were invited to compete in the race to earn baby-related prizes for their parents. The derby was well attended with enough competitors for multiple races, all cheered on by onlookers, parents and relatives.

The event was regionally sponsored by WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Nutrition Program, and Bay State Parent magazine. Multiple local vendors and providers of baby-related products were on hand to offer information and samples to parents.
