What Is the Schedule for the Kiwanis Flag Day Celebration?

Woburn's annual celebration at Library Field kicks off tomorrow.

Woburn Patch readers have been asking about the schedule for this weekend's Flag Day celebration.

The weekend celebration, sponsored by the Woburn Kiwanis Club, starts at 6 p.m. on Friday at Library Park. For that day only visitors can purchase a $15 wrist band for unlimited rides.

On Saturday the events begin at 4 p.m. and run through 11 p.m. Mayor Scott Galvin will give a welcome address at 9 p.m. that will be followed by a performance of the National Anthem at 10 p.m.

The fireworks begin at 10:05 p.m.

  • Carnival Rides - 4 to 11 p.m.
  • DJ Kevin Gary - 5 p.m. to midnight
  • Woburn High's Top Bands - 6 to 7 p.m.
  • Sweet Adelines - 7 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Site 39 - 7:30 to 10 p.m.

There will also be food and refreshments sold throughout the day.
