Whiz Kid of the Week: Jaimee Winer

Woburn Patch selects Jaimee Winer as the Whiz Kid of the Week.

Each week, Woburn Patch will select a . This week, we chose Jaimee Winer, a 16-year-old student at Woburn Memorial High School. Jaimee has been named Youth of the Year!

  • Jaimee is a smiling, smart young woman who has been named the 2011 PFC Joseph L. Drew Youth of the Year at the .
  • Jaimee's "Key to Awesomeness" is that she is a young woman who is always smiling!  She is an outstanding student at Woburn Memorial High School and is very involved in the music department, especially as a member of the a capella choir.  Jaimee is also an excellent karate student and a leader at the Academy of Traditional Karate.  She is currently working toward earning her black belt.  She played an integral role with the Save Spence Farm initiative and continues to be involved with community functions at the farm.  At the Boys & Girls Club of Woburn, Jaimee is an officer with the Intrepid Keystone Club and a member of the Junior Staff.  In May, she will represent our organization at the Massachusetts State Youth of the Year competition.  Jaimee is a kind, determined young woman who is dedicated to her community.  At the Boys & Girls Club, we are so proud of her! And so are we at Woburn Patch! We are happy to highlight Jaimee as this week's Whiz Kid.
