  • Our Facebook fan base is still growing! We gained 16 new followers as of Friday night and were at 1,587 fans. Our Twitter fan base is also moving on up—562 followers.
  • Our new Photo of the Day feature has been very popular. On Monday, our picture of —decorated with the Boston Bruins logo for the Stanley Cup finals—was quickly liked by five fans.
  • We had a great time at Monday night. And we got to meet so many Facebook followers! It was wonderful to see Anne DeCubellis again, and meet Karen-Lee Stock and Holly Callahan for the first time! Next time, we can't wait to meet Chuck Viola and Sue Schneider Sullivan, who we missed while we were at the event.
  • We closely followed the City Council meeting on the library expansion Tuesday, both in person, but also by updating folks on Twitter and Facebook. Carole Beneke Seitz, who was knitting while at the meeting, said the next morning, "I realized that we were on TV, but I hadn't thought about someone mentioning it on Facebook! The world really has changed."
  • We were really excited to see that the Joyce Middle School PTO was sharing our essay links on their Facebook page this week. Thank you! We're so glad that the Joyce community was able to see the essays.
  • We know that our fans love to kid around with us, so we're sure Lisa Langone was kidding when she teased us about being late on a story this week. Hey, we're not perfect! (Or maybe just not this one time. Otherwise, we might be perfect.)
  • Woburn Patch took a look back in time this week, which was greatly appreciated by our fans. Steve Hurley said, "Love the looks back in time—keep 'em coming!"
  • As always, we try to post a conversation starter each night on our Facebook page, so be sure to join us there after 7 p.m. nightly!
